About this trial
TriShield™ + AzaMax™ Dual IPM Trial
Get the most out of your IPM process, combine Trishield and Azamax and take advantage of dual mode protection. A common practice in agriculture is to tank mix two or more IPM products (insecticides and fungicides) making it possible to save labor by making fewer applications. Benefit from TriShield's broad-spectrum protection alongside AzaMax (Insect Growth Regulator), and widen the range of protection while reducing time and labor associated with independent applications.
Product Overview
TriShield™ 3-1 Insecticide, Miticide & Fungicide Concentrate
Insects, mites, and powdery mildew can spell disaster for your grow operation. As a broad-spectrum pesticide, TriShield™ is an effective tool to prevent common plant threats from ever taking hold.
AzaMax™ Botanical Insecticide, Miticide, and Nematicide
OMRI listed repellant, antifeedant and insect growth regulator (IGR) that kills a wide variety of pests and acts as an antifeedant, growth inhibitor and anti-oviposition. Works best against immatures.
Choose your option by facility size.
Facility canopy size - Select this in “Offerings”
Up to 5,000 sq ft = 2 x GH TriShield Quart; 3 x AzaMax 16 oz

Select the option that matches your canopy size. Applications that don’t match may be adjusted to the correct size.
Coverage & Application
- 1 gallon of solution covers approximately 500 sq. ft. of canopy
- Actual coverage depends on your spray method and user
Requirements:
- Verify state requirements for pesticide application prior to trial request. Trial requisitioners must verify any other state specific requirements such as record keeping, pesticide/contamination testing, etc before use.
- Perform a jar test.
- Validate no visual signs of formula instability or report back signs of instability.
- Prepare only the volume needed for the intended application, and use the spray mixture within 24 hours of preparation.
- Apply once weekly as part of your IPM procedure.
Jar Test Procedure:
- Grab your stuff: A clear jar with a lid, some measuring tools, a way to stir, and all the pesticide products you're thinking of mixing.
- Check the labels: Look for any mixing instructions or warnings—especially the order things should go in.
- Do the mix: Pour water into the jar (about half full). Add each product one at a time, stir well after each one.
- Watch what happens: After everything is in, stir it well again and let it sit for about 30 minutes.
- Look for problems: If you see chunks, layers, sludge, or it gets goopy—those are bad signs. Smooth and clear? You're likely good.
- Test small first: Before spraying the whole crop, test your mix on a small patch of plants just to be sure.
Note: One gallon of solution covers approximately 500 sq ft of canopy. Actual coverage may vary depending on spray method and user.
